As a Dancer, nothing makes me smile more than this advert for T Mobile.

400 Dancers at 11.am at Londons Liverpool Street Station. What wouldnt I have given to have been a part of it.

Of course what makes this video is the unknown quantity of the general public. I have watched this vid about 10 times all the way through and it is the faces of the people just joining in that make my heart swell. If only life was always like this.

Just as it (and i say this tentatively because as the law of sod dictates you KNOW that the moment I say this its going to get colder) is getting warmer around here (the last couple of days have been almost bearable all things considered). I manage to complete a project. Yes a project for myself! I bought a heinous but lovely chunky jumper from the charity shop back in the summer with a view to unravelling it for wool. And so a few evenings infront of the TV, mindlessly balling up and unravelling then later, knitting. The HUGE CHUNKY RED SCARF was born. I love it. I had this project in mind for a while, its nice and long and ribbed for texture. I v much love it and intend to wear it even if we have a freak tropical storm next week.

Hello Friends and Happy Sunday to you. I havent much to report since my last post really- today was spent cleaning my house from top to bottom as these things have definately been on the slide since we were both so ill I am ashamed to say. But now everything is spick and span (apart from my studio but hey.. i work there). There is nothing like a good clean up to make you feel better.

And now i have a date with a large cup of tea and the papers.

I have decided to devote my time to my languishing shop over on Big cartel abibansaldesign.bigcartel.com will be the main home of my work as of when my new collection is up. I will continue with Etsy in a small way of course but this year I feel I need to move towards a more accessible, clean look. Updates and news as it happens!!

I hope to be taking part in an official shoot of all the collection nearer the time they go to sale. I will keep you posted on my progress as there are some new items I am still perfecting. Things are starting to get back to normal around here. I took the Tree down earlier.. much as it pained me to do so. I really loved our tree this year. I have lit a lot of lanterns and candles this evening to maintain the festive glow a little longer.

I cleaned the house today and tidied and sorted as much as possible in readiness for my first proper day in the studio since the Christmas Break/illness of 08. Those of you awaiting custom pieces they will be sent in a matter of days. It will be nice to have normal length ques in the post office. The grand plan is of course to rejig Abi Bansal Design and relaunch with a fresh new look in keeping with a new collection and new year. I am excited and apphensive about what the year will bring…This will be the first concentrated break I have taken in order to focus entirely on my work so part of me is worried it wont measure up. But then I always feel like that. The plan is also to move my shop more onto Big Cartel. I will stay on Etsy of course but do feel that Big Cartel suits me better. All very exciting.

Im going to have a glass of wine now before the festive season is really and truly over x
